DIYing a Camera Slider

For my animation, I realized that I will need a camera slider to get most of the shots I want, so I decided to make one myself. It is nothing fancy, it has no wheels or anything special but I really dont need it to slide "smoothly" as one with wheels or even professional ones for that matter, as long as it held my camera and I can slide it in increments then its all good to me.

I am not going to lie, I ran into a few problems while making the slider, first of all, Home Depot apparently doesn't sell plastic (PVC) T-joints in 1/2" diameter, (which is probably bullshit) but all the tutorials I researched online said that they do supply them. So I ended up buying something similar to PVC t-joints but they were bigger and had rubber inside of them that made it fit the pipes I had. Since I bought the different T-joints, I had to alter the design of my slider and it took me awhile to figure that out, but I managed to work something out.

I was also trying to use a crappy tripod head from my cheap and broken tripod but that didn't work out to well so I scrapped it.

The finished product...

And I decided to paint it black.
